The Photo that Proved "Marshall" was Hirschfeld

It was not until I obtained an old newspaper clipping containing a clearly captioned photograph of Richard Hirschfeld that I was able to prove my suspicion that the man the Department of Homeland Security had been investigating, who called himself "Richard Marshall," was actually Richard Hirschfeld. In that photograph, which is shown below, and which originally appeared in The Atlanta Journal and Constitution on December 12, 1988, as part of Dave Kindred's story "The Man and the Voice," Hirschfeld is shown at the 1988 Republican National Convention wearing a campaign button of his own design. It reads "BUSH IN 88/ HATCH IN 96."
